Site Engineer

About the role

Monami Construction is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support the technical and engineering functions of our Dublin projects. You will work closely with the site team to ensure precise, efficient, and compliant delivery of construction works.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and managing all on‑site engineering activities.
• Set out, level, and survey the site in line with project specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and convey design data to operatives and subcontractors.
• Liaise with design teams, consultants and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure works meet the highest standards, current regulations and best practices.
• Support the Site/Project Manager in tracking progress against the programme.
• Maintain daily site records, including diaries, checklists and quality reports.
• Enforce health & safety procedures and maintain site safety documentation.
• Participate in site meetings and provide accurate technical updates.
• Collaborate with the Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager on material procurement and cost control.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Site Engineer in the construction sector.
• Proficiency with setting‑out, surveying and instruments such as total stations, GPS and AutoCAD.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulations.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure in a dynamic site environment.
• Valid Safe Pass card.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with PSDP regulations and site health & safety requirements is advantageous.
