Site Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading contractor, is looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead external works on a commercial development in Dublin City Centre. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring safety, quality and programme targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Project Manager and supervise all on‑site activities, including logistics, deliveries and gate‑keeping duties.
• Maintain accurate site records such as daily diaries, RFIs, NCRs and other documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, company procedures and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site staff to achieve programme deadlines.
• Liaise with utilities and local authorities for temporary services and connections.
• Oversee quality control, inspections and keep the site clean and safe at all times.
• Participate in site meetings and use the Procore construction management platform.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of construction site supervision experience, preferably with a trades background.
• Demonstrated experience in external works and logistics management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and understand current building regulations.
• Strong sense of ownership, responsibility and the capability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Procore construction management software.
