About the role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of Ireland's largest residential development in Munster – an 800‑unit project running until at least 2030. This is a hands‑on role responsible for safety, quality, schedule and budget on a high‑visibility site.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all on‑site activities, ensuring work is safe, high‑quality, on time and within budget.
- Oversee EHS and quality compliance, implementing company policies across the site.
- Control site security and maintain accurate personnel sign‑in/out records.
- Maintain a clean, safe site environment and address safety concerns promptly.
- Coordinate material, plant and labour deliveries with the Commercial department.
- Maintain the site diary and implement daily/weekly programmes.
- Run daily whiteboard meetings with subcontractors, monitor progress and resolve issues.
- Build and sustain relationships with clients, stakeholders and the design team.
- Track key performance metrics and report to the site team.
- Assist the Project Manager with documentation for building control and warranty submissions.
- Identify project changes with financial impact and keep accurate daily records.
- Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, snagging and handover processes.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience delivering residential construction projects.
- Experience with timber‑frame construction is preferred.
- Proven track record of safe, efficient project delivery.
- Knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and EHS standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Highly organised, able to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full clean driving licence.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office suite.
- Procore construction management software (training provided).
- Document Management System.
