Site Manager – Residential Construction

About the role

The Land Development Agency (LDA) is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction phase of its residential and regeneration projects across Ireland. You will be responsible for ensuring that works are carried out to design specifications, on schedule, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site construction activities and ensure contractors follow approved designs.
• Coordinate contract interfaces and manage daily site operations.
• Assess contractor claims, payment applications, and method statements, providing clear feedback.
• Maintain detailed records, measurements, photographic documentation, and contractual correspondence.
• Report progress to the Employer’s Representative and attend regular site meetings.
• Identify and document any delays, industrial disputes, or other issues affecting the project timeline.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of site management experience in residential or large‑scale construction.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Proactive team player with a solid work ethic and adaptability to changing project demands.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
