Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Optum, through its Change Healthcare division, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join the Cloud Operations Automation team. You will be responsible for the reliability, security, and efficiency of cloud environments that support Enterprise Imaging solutions, directly contributing to improved health outcomes for millions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software tools that automate cloud operations and deployments.
• Define, drive, and implement cloud‑operations procedures and reliable infrastructure.
• Participate in continuous delivery, configuration changes, performance monitoring, and high‑availability initiatives.
• Lead incident‑management activities, including triage and resolution.
• Provide 24×7 shift‑based support with rotating on‑call responsibilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to work in a 24×7 shift environment with rotating on‑call duties.
• Strong interest in cloud reliability, security, and automation.
