Software Engineer – Build & CI/CD (Hybrid)

About the role

Cisco Collaboration is looking for a Software Engineer to shape the Agentic Developer Experience and strengthen security posture across our collaboration platforms. This hybrid role requires three days per week on‑site and focuses on building, optimizing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for iOS, Android, and desktop applications.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the Agentic Developer Experience for Cisco Collaboration.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using the GitHub ecosystem, including GitHub Actions.
• Analyze and reduce build times for C++ projects.
• Own and maintain build pipelines for iOS and Android apps.
• Support builds on Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate build optimizations.
• Diagnose and resolve build failures, dependency issues, and platform‑specific quirks.
• Provide guidance to developers on build‑related questions.
• Document build processes, configurations, and best practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in build engineering, software development, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with C or C++.
