.NET Developer – 1 Year Contract (Hybrid) in Galway

About the role

Our client in Galway City is seeking a .NET Developer for a 1‑year day‑rate contract, with the possibility of extension. The role is hybrid, requiring two days on‑site each week, and offers the chance to work on modern software solutions within a dynamic IT services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack .NET applications using C# and modern frontend technologies.
• Implement and integrate APIs, ensuring robust communication between services.
• Work with SQL databases to design schemas, write queries and optimise performance.
• Collaborate with agile teams, participating in sprint planning, code reviews and continuous delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in .NET full‑stack development.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland (Stamp 4 or EU/UK nationality).
