Software Engineer (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

About the role

Cisco Collaboration is building the workplaces of tomorrow. As a Software Engineer you will help shape the Agentic Developer Experience, define security posture for Collaboration, and improve developer workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in defining the Agentic Developer Experience and security posture for Cisco Collaboration.
• Engage with engineering teams to understand developer needs and enhance user experience.
• Contribute to internal developer platforms, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines using the GitHub ecosystem.
• Participate in building and maintaining developer portals and workflows.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Familiarity with modern development practices, version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.

Required skills

• JavaScript or TypeScript
• Git and GitHub Actions (or similar CI/CD tools)
• Developer portal platforms such as Backstage
• Cloud platforms: Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP
• Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, Ansible
