About the role
The Investment Counsellor will manage relationships with high‑net‑worth Spanish clients from our Dublin office, providing expert advice, portfolio updates and education on market developments. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and a clear understanding of investment decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain long‑standing relationships with Spanish‑speaking high‑net‑worth clients.
- Manage a book of approximately €100‑150 million in assets.
- Serve as the conduit between clients and internal teams including Investment Policy, research, trading and service departments.
- Proactively update clients on portfolio changes, market outlooks and investment philosophy.
- Participate in a comprehensive training program to deepen finance and capital‑markets knowledge.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience working with private clients in banking or wealth‑management.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, markets and current events.
- Native Spanish speaker with fluent English communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; CFA, IMC or CISI Level 4 considered beneficial.
- Positive, empathetic attitude and ability to connect with diverse audiences.
