Tax Reporting Senior Manager

About the role

Flutter is seeking a Tax Reporting Senior Manager to lead key workstreams within its Tax Reporting team. This 12‑month fixed‑term position supports the Group Finance function across London, Dublin and Leeds in a hybrid setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of tax reporting components and meet budgetary deadlines.
• Review tax calculations for external reporting and internal forecasting.
• Prepare and review tax reporting documentation and evidence for US GAAP and IFRS reporting, including Uncertain Tax Position evidence.
• Collaborate with divisional finance teams to ensure accurate group tax reporting and provide US GAAP training where needed.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks across the organisation.
• Support external reporting disclosures such as 10K, 10Q and IFRS tax documentation.
• Maintain compliance with SOX‑controlled tax reporting environment.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant or tax advisor with 5+ years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and tax reporting (US GAAP preferred, IFRS acceptable).
• Experience using reporting tools such as Oracle and tax reporting applications like Oracle EPM – Tax Reporting (TRCS).
• Background working in a SOX internal‑control environment.
• Proven team‑leadership experience, including development of staff and liaison with auditors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
