Staff Nurse – Flexible Shifts in Kilkenny

About the role

Emerald Nursing is recruiting experienced Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to work across Kilkenny’s most respected private hospitals, HSE teaching hospitals, national specialist centres and leading care groups. The role offers premium hourly rates and full control over your shift diary, allowing you to choose the sites and times that suit your lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in acute, community or specialist settings across Kilkenny’s private hospitals, HSE teaching hospitals and national specialist centres.
• Deliver care during day, night, weekend and bank‑holiday shifts according to a self‑selected diary.
• Maintain clinical standards, documentation and patient safety in accordance with Irish regulations.

Required profile

• Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
• Minimum six months of recent clinical experience within the Irish healthcare system.
• Strong clinical references and eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Up‑to‑date mandatory training, Garda vetting and occupational health clearance (arranged by the agency).
