Supply Chain Specialist – Global External Manufacturing

About the role

Join a global team that ensures essential healthcare products are manufactured and delivered reliably worldwide. You will work in a fast‑paced, highly regulated external manufacturing environment, coordinating with international partners to maintain supply continuity for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end supply chain activities for externally manufactured products across multiple partners and regions.
• Serve as the primary interface between external manufacturing sites, internal stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor and maintain supply plans to prevent stock disruptions.
• Coordinate production schedules, inventory levels, and demand signals across a complex global network.
• Support new product introductions and lifecycle management within external manufacturing operations.
• Lead resolution of supply disruptions, escalating when necessary to protect service levels.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, and other global regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate data in ERP platforms and supply planning tools.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost optimisation, and service performance.

Required profile

• Experience in supply chain, planning, or external manufacturing within a regulated environment (pharma, medical devices, FMCG, etc.).
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) and supply planning tools.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management skills across global or multi‑site teams.
• Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail.
• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Science, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
