About the role
Our client, a leading Irish provider of accountancy and advisory services, is expanding its tax team. The Tax Compliance Manager will deliver high‑quality corporate tax compliance services to a diverse portfolio of domestic and international clients, working from any of the firm’s offices in Cork, Galway or Dublin.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of corporate tax compliance engagements for domestic and international clients, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
- Review and approve compliance deliverables prepared by junior staff, maintaining quality standards.
- Serve as the primary client contact on compliance matters, advising on tax law changes and handling Revenue correspondence.
- Conduct technical research on evolving tax legislation and its application.
- Collaborate across departments to provide coordinated client service.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, contributing to performance appraisals.
- Support process improvement initiatives, including the adoption of tax technology.
- Assist with working‑capital management, WIP, billing and collections.
- Participate in corporate tax consulting projects for both domestic and international clients.
Required profile
- CTA qualification (or equivalent); an accounting qualification is a plus.
- 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in tax compliance, preferably within a professional services firm serving Irish and international clients.
- Strong knowledge of Irish corporate tax legislation and international tax concepts.
- Excellent communication, organisational and project‑management abilities.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality client service.
