Tax Manager – Corporate Tax Compliance (8‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join a global PLC's Global Tax team on an 8‑month contract. Reporting to the Tax Director, you will oversee corporate tax compliance across Ireland, the UK, the Netherlands and other European jurisdictions while supporting a range of international tax projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate tax compliance and filings for multiple European jurisdictions.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly tax reporting under US GAAP.
• Review tax accounting entries and provisions prepared by local finance teams.
• Support statutory reporting requirements and tax disclosures.
• Assist with transfer pricing documentation, Country‑by‑Country Reporting and Pillar II compliance.
• Provide expertise on domestic and international tax projects, restructurings and technical matters.
• Liaise with external advisors and tax authorities as required.

Required profile

• AITI or CTA qualification with post‑qualification experience.
• Background in a Big 4/top‑tier practice or a listed multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Irish corporation tax; exposure to VAT, CGT, DWT and Stamp Duty is advantageous.
• Familiarity with FRS 101 and ideally US GAAP.
• Experience with European tax matters and strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
