Tax Senior – Corporate Tax Role in Dublin

About the role

Dains Ireland is expanding its tax team in Dublin and is looking for a motivated Tax Senior to join a dynamic, client‑focused practice. This full‑time position offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of personal and corporate clients, allowing you to deepen your expertise in Irish tax compliance and advisory work.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, manage and review tax compliance work for personal and corporate clients, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
• Support VAT, Employment Taxes and RCT compliance, handling queries and liaising with the wider team as needed.
• Assist with tax planning and advisory projects, drafting inputs for proposals and client deliverables.
• Liaise with Revenue and clients to resolve queries, support audits and provide updates.
• Research Irish tax legislation and contribute to technical memos and written advice.
• Assist with CGT and CAT computations and related planning for individuals and owner‑managed businesses.
• Coach and support junior team members, reviewing work where appropriate.

Required profile

• CTA qualified (newly qualified accepted) with relevant tax experience in practice.
• Strong understanding of Irish tax systems and Revenue processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented approach to problem‑solving.
