Technical Systems Specialist

About the role

The Technical Systems Specialist will support the delivery, maintenance and continuous improvement of business systems and applications for a global brand based in Dublin. The role blends technical expertise with collaboration across development, vendor and user teams to ensure reliable, efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support system integrations, APIs, cloud applications and internal tools to boost operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with third‑party developers on requirements, testing, documentation and releases.
• Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and helpdesk escalation assistance.
• Coordinate with developers, vendors and users to resolve defects and support system rollouts.
• Deliver technology projects by gathering requirements, managing scope, monitoring risks and supporting change adoption.
• Perform functional, regression, integration and user‑acceptance testing while maintaining QA documentation.
• Use AI tools to support analysis, troubleshooting, documentation and automation initiatives across business systems.
• Promote safe and effective adoption of AI technologies within operational workflows.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in a software, systems or application‑focused IT role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving ability.
• Experience with system integrations and APIs.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and release management.
• Experience supporting or maintaining business applications.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical users.
