Customer Service Assistant

About the role

You will deliver an outstanding customer experience in a fast‑paced retail environment, supporting the Shop Manager and team to keep the store running smoothly. The role includes opening and closing the shop, handling cash, and processing bets across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with daily shop operations.
• Open and close the shop, ensuring all procedures are followed.
• Manage cash, accept and process bets via betting terminals and the EPOS system.
• Maintain high shop presentation standards and compliance with safety and social responsibility policies.
• Act as a brand ambassador, introducing customers to in‑shop and online offerings.
• Step in to lead the shop in the absence of senior managers.

Required profile

• Customer‑service focused with strong integrity.
• Flexible to work 7 days a week and adapt to a retail environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and numeracy.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in the sporting industry and ability to build rapport with customers.
• Ambitious and driven to progress within the company.

Required skills
