General Manager – HR Function (Dublin & Kilkenny)

About the role

The Health Service Executive (HSE) is recruiting three permanent, whole‑time General Managers for its HR function in the Dublin and South East Health Region. The post holder will be assigned to a service role at the discretion of the Regional Director of People, working from either the HSE offices in Carrickmines, Dublin 18 or the Kilkenny office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for the HR function at the assigned site.
• Implement HR policies and procedures in line with HSE guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Regional Director of People and other senior leaders to deliver HR services.
• Oversee delivery of HR services to staff across the designated region.

Required profile

• Open to both HSE and non‑HSE applicants.
• Willing to work at either the Dublin or Kilkenny location.
• Commit to a permanent, whole‑time contract.
