About the role
We are looking for a Line Engineer to join our canned‑food production workshop in Perigueux. You will work closely with mechanics, operators and quality controllers to ensure the line runs smoothly and meets production targets.
Key responsibilities
- Adjust manufacturing equipment and change product formats as required.
- Operate and continuously monitor the production line.
- Follow the production schedule and ensure timely output.
- Apply quality control plans and implement corrective actions when deviations occur.
- Perform first‑level maintenance on line equipment.
Required profile
- Initial training in mechanics with at least one year of industrial experience.
- Versatile and able to keep the workstation clean and organized.
- Strong commitment to safety and hygiene standards.
- Familiarity with production chains and ability to maintain line cadence.
Required skills
- Mechanical adjustment of equipment.
- Equipment setup and change‑over.
- Production line monitoring.
- First‑level maintenance and troubleshooting.
