Production Operator – Conformal Coating

About the role

Moog Ireland is looking for a Production Operator to join its Conformal Coating team in Carrigaline. You will work on high‑reliability electronic motor‑control products, performing manual assembly and supporting prototype work under engineering control.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assembly, PCB cleaning and baking equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Prepare components, apply adhesives and conformal coatings, and use torque tools for fastener assembly.
• Perform manual assembly of PCBs and mechanical hardware following SOPs, drawings and process procedures.
• Set up equipment, carry out process‑related measurements, and conduct routine machine maintenance.
• Inspect and rework PCBs and components according to established criteria.
• Complete production documentation and transact work orders in the ERP system.
• Observe anti‑static, safety, housekeeping and personal‑tool‑maintenance requirements.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in electronic assembly or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of IPC 7711, IPC 7721 and IPC J‑Standard specifications.
• Proven commitment to quality and production targets.
• Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Positive, flexible attitude and good interpersonal skills.
