Production Operator – PCB Assembly

About the role

Moog Ireland Ltd. is seeking a Production Operator to join its high‑reliability electronic motor control manufacturing team in Carrigaline. You will work on PCB and mechanical hardware assembly, ensuring quality and efficiency in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assembly, PCB cleaning and baking equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Prepare components, apply adhesives and conformal coatings, and use torque tools for fastener assembly.
• Perform manual assembly of printed circuit boards and mechanical parts following SOPs, drawings and process procedures.
• Set up equipment, carry out process‑related measurements, and conduct routine machine maintenance.
• Inspect and rework PCBs and components according to established criteria.
• Complete all required production documentation and process work orders in the ERP system.
• Maintain personal tools, follow anti‑static precautions, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in electronic or mechanical assembly.
• Strong commitment to quality and production targets.
• Detail‑oriented with good problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Positive, flexible attitude and good interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IPC‑7711/IPC‑7721 and IPC J‑Standard.
• Operation of PCB cleaning and baking equipment.
• Proficiency with torque tools.
• Adhesive and conformal coating application.
• Use of ERP systems for work‑order processing.
• Basic machine maintenance and PCB inspection/rework.
