Scrum Master – Financial Services (12‑month contract)

About the role

Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is looking for a passionate Scrum Master to guide software development teams in Dublin. The role is a 12‑month contract, four days a week on‑site, focused on fostering Agile practices, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coach teams on Agile/Scrum principles, ensuring effective application of practices and values.
• Facilitate self‑organisation, remove impediments and support conflict resolution.
• Assess and raise Scrum maturity, guiding teams toward higher performance.
• Enhance communication and transparency both internally and externally.
• Support the Product Owner with backlog grooming and prioritisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master for software development teams.
• Background in Financial Services, preferably with exposure to fund accounting.
• Strong servant‑leadership, facilitation and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to inspire teams.

Required skills

• Scrum and Agile methodologies (XP, Kanban, Crystal).
• User Stories, ATDD, TDD.
• Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing.
• Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
