Accommodation Assistant – Hotel Housekeeping

About the role

The Accommodation Assistant joins the award‑winning team at Hyatt Centric The Liberties, playing a key part in delivering a pristine guest experience. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and functionality of guest rooms and public areas in a fast‑paced hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas to high standards, ensuring all equipment is operational.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the maintenance department.
• Complete all housekeeping checklists by the end of each shift.
• Adhere to hotel policies, especially environmental and health‑safety standards.
• Respond to guest requests quickly and courteously.
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Knowledge of hygiene, cleaning standards, and health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Customer‑focused mindset.
• Legal eligibility to work in Ireland.
