About the role
We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Baker to join our team at EUROSPAR Castlecomer. The role involves preparing and baking a range of bakery products to a high standard while ensuring quality, freshness and excellent customer service. The successful candidate will work five days a week with shifts typically between 6:00 am and 2:00 pm/2:30 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and bake bakery products to a high standard.
- Maintain product quality, freshness, and presentation.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Assist with stock control and stock rotation.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Support the day‑to‑day operation of the bakery department.
Required profile
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to use initiative and work independently.
- Self‑motivated with a positive attitude.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable and flexible in approach to work.
