Accommodation Assistant

About the role

The Accommodation Assistant works closely with the Accommodation Manager and Supervisors to ensure guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a memorable stay for every guest at The Fleet Hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest bedrooms, corridors, fire doors, and public areas according to SOPs.
• Perform deep‑cleaning tasks on a scheduled basis.
• Provide in‑room amenities such as water, gifts, and fruit following hotel protocols.
• Report any maintenance defects that could affect guest experience or safety.
• Safely operate hotel vehicles and handle departmental equipment.
• Dispose of wet waste, glass, and recyclables in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Attend weekly briefings and respond promptly to guest privacy and comfort requests.
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet hotel operational needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as an Accommodation Assistant in a 4‑star hotel environment.
• Ability to follow established cleaning standards and SOPs.
• Willingness to work varied schedules (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
