Accommodation Supervisor (Hotel Pre-Opening)

About the role

The Grace Westport Estate is preparing to open its flagship hotel on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way in Spring 2026. We are looking for an Accommodation Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team, ensure impeccable room and public‑area standards, and support a seamless pre‑opening launch.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and servicing of guest rooms and public areas according to SOPs.
• Conduct room inspections using quality checklists before release for sale.
• Manage daily task sheets, section pantries and inventory usage, reporting defects promptly.
• Maintain accurate start/finish times and productivity records.
• Control costs by monitoring par levels for chemicals, OS&E, amenities and linen.
• Assist department managers with budgeting data and performance reporting.
• Lead training, coaching and grooming standards for housekeeping staff.
• Ensure safety compliance, proper chemical handling and use of protective equipment.
• Support sustainability through waste segregation and linen‑discard tracking.
• Act as communication bridge between leadership and the housekeeping team.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year hospitality experience, preferably in a supervisory role within a luxury setting.
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
• Flexibility to support all housekeeping areas according to business demands.
