Accounting Manager

About the role

JD.com, a global technology and e‑commerce leader, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee end‑to‑end accounting operations across its international business. The role will ensure accurate financial reporting, drive process automation, and support audit and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting activities including revenue, expenditures and capital expenditures, and manage month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and conduct variance analysis to provide actionable insights.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies, lead automation initiatives, and improve SOPs and internal controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, maintain tax compliance, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Perform regular account reconciliations, assess financial risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Partner with business and technology teams to address financial requirements and deliver accounting policy training.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
