Accounting Manager

About the role

JD.com is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead end‑to‑end accounting operations across its global business. The role combines daily transaction processing, financial reporting, and strategic analysis to support data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting activities including revenue, expenditures and capital expenditures, ensuring document compliance.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing, aligning ledger balances with actuals to reduce discrepancies.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and conduct variance analysis.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies, drive automation initiatives and refine SOPs and internal controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, monitor tax compliance and manage regulatory inspections.
• Perform regular account reconciliations, assess financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Partner with business and technology teams to address financial requirements and provide accounting policy training.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑cycle accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate variance analysis into actionable insights.
• Excellent understanding of audit processes, tax regulations and internal controls.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with finance, business and technology stakeholders.
