Accounting Statutory and Tax Specialist (Fixed-Term)

About the role

Accenture is seeking an Accounting Statutory and Tax Specialist on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract in Dublin. The role will support the preparation of statutory accounts, corporate tax calculations and the integration of accounting standards across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation and filing of statutory annual accounts under Dutch GAAP.
• Prepare and produce statutory financial statements in collaboration with the team.
• Review reconciliations between statutory and US GAAP ledgers.
• Calculate corporation tax provisions for inclusion in statutory accounts.
• Conduct technical accounting research on new standards and assess reporting impact.
• Prepare year‑end tax packages for the Global Tax Group and respond to queries.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors and authorities, providing required information.
• Review quarterly corporation tax forecasts and support entity wind‑down processes.
• Manage accounting for acquisitions and maintain relationships with internal controllership teams.

Required profile

• Professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CPA).
• Minimum five years of progressive accounting and/or tax experience.
• Experience preparing financial statements and annual statutory accounts.
• Exposure to US GAAP and IFRS; knowledge of Dutch GAAP is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP or Workiva is advantageous.
• Fluent English communication skills.
