Accounts Administrator

About the role

Nua Healthcare Services, one of Ireland's leading care providers offering residential, supported living, day services and community outreach services for children and adults, is seeking a dedicated Accounts Administrator. The role suits someone starting a career in finance or wanting to gain experience across several functions of the Finance Department.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly staff expense claim forms in line with company policy
• Process the weekly declared hours report
• Assist with individuals' finance audits in line with policies and procedures
• Manage frontline petty cash transactions
• Prepare bank lodgements
• Respond to frontline queries in a timely, professional and friendly manner
• Support accountants with projects and other finance-related tasks as required
• Ensure adherence to client confidentiality policies at all times

Required profile

• Previous experience in an office-based role is preferable
• Full clean driving licence
• Knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to the area
• Strong interpersonal skills, drive and enthusiasm

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is an advantage
• Strong technical and organisational skills, able to meet strict deadlines
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work requirements
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members, management and other stakeholders
