Agency Staff Nurse – Flexible Shifts in Kildare

About the role

Emerald Nursing is seeking experienced Registered General Nurses to work on an agency basis across Kildare’s leading private hospitals, HSE teaching hospitals, specialist centres and care groups. The role offers flexible, self‑managed diaries and the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of clinical settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care to patients in acute, community or specialist environments.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective treatment plans.
• Adhere to infection control, health and safety, and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) as a Registered General Nurse.
• Minimum six months of recent clinical experience within the Irish healthcare system.
• Strong clinical references and eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Up‑to‑date mandatory training and clearance through Garda vetting and occupational health (arranged by Emerald Nursing).
