Android Developer – Native Kotlin Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Android engineer to build and ship the native Android experience for BJAK's AI‑powered Neobank app. You will work on a fast‑growing fintech product that helps users manage money, payments and rewards directly from their phones.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and release native Android features for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards and AI‑assisted journeys.
• Transform complex financial flows into simple, fast, and reliable mobile experiences.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend and AI teams to take features from concept to production.
• Own app quality, including performance, crash rate, loading states, edge‑case handling and release stability.
• Use production feedback, analytics and user behaviour to iterate and improve features after launch.
• Integrate APIs, authentication, secure data handling and financial workflows with a focus on reliability.

Required profile

• Strong native Android experience using Kotlin and modern development practices.
• Proven track record of shipping Android apps used by real customers.
• Ability to debug production issues and optimise performance and reliability.
• Comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast‑moving startup environment.
