Area Manager – Ireland Retail Operations

About the role

Lead and manage daily retail operations across Ireland, driving business goals and maximising profitability. You will oversee store management teams, set performance objectives, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards while maintaining a customer‑first focus.

Key responsibilities

• Educate, engage and inspire store teams to deliver the business and retail strategy.
• Drive store performance through KPIs, financial reviews and timely corrective actions.
• Conduct structured store visits to ensure operational standards, compliance and health & safety.
• Optimise stock management, visual merchandising and availability to maximise sales.
• Deliver sales and profitability targets, control costs and manage each store’s P&L.
• Forecast and manage payroll, aligning schedules with customer demand.
• Analyse customer feedback and service metrics to improve the customer experience.
• Coach, develop and succession‑plan store managers, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Proven leadership ability with a focus on inclusive, collaborative culture.
• Commercially driven with strong data analysis skills.
• Ability to adapt to market trends and understand customer needs.
