Aseptic Operations Engineer (12-month contract)

About the role

We are seeking an Aseptic Operations Engineer to join a multinational pharmaceutical client in Sligo on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role focuses on supporting aseptic and sterile manufacturing processes within biologics cleanrooms. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day aseptic and sterile operations in cleanroom environments.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and cleanroom standards.
• Collaborate with equipment, utilities and facilities teams to maintain and qualify critical assets.
• Participate in process validation, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience working in biologics cleanrooms.
• Strong background in aseptic and sterile process oversight.
• Engineering experience in equipment, utilities or facilities within a pharmaceutical setting.
