Assistant Manager – Retail (Full‑Time, Permanent)

About the role

As an Assistant Manager at David Clulow, you will support the Store Manager in driving sales, ensuring profitability, and delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast‑paced eyewear retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with all operating policies, procedures, and asset‑protection standards.
• Oversee accurate POS transactions, cash handling, and store opening/closing processes.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation.
• Provide excellent customer service and stay up‑to‑date with product trends.
• Coach and develop associates, fostering a positive and engaging work environment.
• Address associate concerns fairly and support recruitment, training, and development.
• Network with internal and external stakeholders to support store operations.
