Assistant Store Manager – Retail Leadership Role

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our Holland & Barrett store on Henry Street, Dublin. In this role you will support the Store Manager in leading a high‑performing team, delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to lead, motivate and develop the store team.
• Coach colleagues to provide world‑class service and build lasting customer relationships.
• Maintain smooth store operations with a customer‑first mindset.
• Drive sales, manage costs and ensure operational excellence.
• Oversee stock accuracy, visual standards and promotional execution.
• Uphold compliance, health, safety and wellbeing standards.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of staff.
• Complete product training and stay updated on health‑and‑wellness trends.
• Achieve Qualified to Advise certification to advise customers with trusted expertise.

Required profile

• Confident, adaptable leader thriving in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Clear communicator able to coach, motivate and build trust.
• Commercially aware with a focus on achieving targets.
• Passionate about health, wellness and continuous learning.
• Retail or customer‑service experience with ambition to step into leadership.
• Comfortable using technology to enhance the customer experience.
