Entry Level Personal Lines Agent (Hybrid)

About the role

Zurich Insurance Europe AG is seeking an Entry Level Personal Lines Agent for its Wexford office. The role focuses on understanding customer needs, delivering telephone‑based support for home, motor and van insurance, and helping customers with underwriting queries. Flexible part‑time or full‑time arrangements are available to suit the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Provide telephone‑based support to customers on all aspects of general insurance underwriting.
• Respond promptly to product queries (home, motor & van) and aim to exceed service quality.
• Retain existing customers and meet challenging business targets.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities for additional policy benefits.
• Contact targeted renewals to drive retention and achieve renewal targets.
• Build rapport with potential and existing customers.
• Arrange follow‑up calls for future sales opportunities.
• Maintain high service levels with a customer‑centric approach.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 H5’s or higher level C3’s in the Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) or a third‑level qualification (minimum level 6) or relevant work experience.
• Experience in a customer‑facing environment; insurance experience is an advantage.
• Completed or in the process of completing CIP and/or ACII qualification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• General IT proficiency for handling telephone support tools.
