Associate Manager, Internal Audit (Regulatory)

About the role

eBay is seeking an Associate Manager, Regulatory to join its global Internal Audit team. The position is based in Dublin (with options in Dreilinden or Amsterdam) and operates in a hybrid model, requiring three days per week on‑site. You will lead regulatory audit engagements for the UK payment entity and support audits across other regions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report on audit engagements, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Apply a risk‑based audit approach to evaluate the adequacy and efficiency of controls.
• Identify root causes of issues, draft clear audit findings, and recommend improvements.
• Present audit results to senior audit management, risk forums, and key business partners.
• Manage the annual audit planning and risk assessment process.
• Stay current with industry and regulatory changes affecting the control environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in audit, assurance, or controls.
• Analytical, diligent, and collaborative mindset with strong ownership.
• Ability to translate risks into business issues and prioritize recommendations.
