Atlassian Consultant – Remote (Europe)

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Atlassian Consultant to join a leading Irish bank on a permanent, rolling‑contract basis. The role is fully remote for candidates residing in Europe and focuses on a strategic, long‑term migration project from Atlassian Data Center to Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end migrations of Jira Software, Jira Service Management and Confluence from Data Center to Atlassian Cloud.
• Assess current implementations and design cloud‑ready solutions covering workflows, schemes, custom fields, permissions, dashboards and reports.
• Re‑implement ScriptRunner/Groovy business logic using Cloud‑native automation and Marketplace apps.
• Plan and execute migration of key Marketplace applications (Assets, EazyBI, Custom Charts, Projectrak, Structure, Tempo, Zephyr, Jira Plans/Advanced Roadmaps).
• Configure and administer Jira and Confluence on both Data Center and Cloud environments.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on administration experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management and Confluence on Data Center/Server and Cloud.
• Proven track record delivering Data Center‑to‑Cloud migrations, preferably in a regulated financial services setting.
• Solid Groovy scripting experience with ScriptRunner and extensive use of Jira/Confluence REST APIs.
• Good understanding of user management, SSO, Active Directory integration, Agile and ITIL processes.
• Self‑starting, analytical problem‑solver able to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
