B2B Comms Lead, EMEA

About the role

The B2B Comms Lead, EMEA will shape and deliver OpenAI’s B2B communications across the region, linking global priorities with local market needs. Reporting to the Head of B2B Comms, this senior position works cross‑functionally with product, marketing, legal, and global affairs teams, and involves regular international travel.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the EMEA B2B communications strategy, turning global goals into focused regional programmes with clear audiences and outcomes.
• Lead integrated campaigns across earned and owned channels that showcase OpenAI’s technology, demonstrate business value and build trust.
• Build a pipeline of customer, partner and ecosystem stories that illustrate tangible impact across priority industries.
• Shape regional narratives, translating complex technical developments into compelling business stories and supporting launches, executive moments and major events.
• Maintain relationships with business, technology and trade media, advise senior spokespeople, manage agency partners and budgets, and provide counsel on emerging reputational risks.

Required profile

• Significant senior communications experience in‑house or agency, with a strong B2B technology or enterprise background.
• Proven track record leading regional or international communications programmes within complex, global organisations.
• Excellent media‑relations instincts and established contacts with business and technology journalists across the UK, Europe and MENA.
• Strong executive counsel, issues‑management judgment and the ability to work calmly and decisively at pace.
