Bid Senior Manager – Lead Pursuits & Proposals

About the role

PwC Ireland is seeking a Bid Senior Manager to head its Pursuits team. You will drive strategic pursuits and proposals across the firm, working closely with proposition leaders, client‑facing partners and business development teams to secure high‑value opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the firm’s pursuit team to execute market strategy and align pursuits with growth objectives.
• Identify, manage and deliver ‘must‑win’ critical pursuits across tax, assurance and advisory services.
• Develop compelling pursuit sales strategies, prepare meeting materials and craft competitive bid proposals.
• Conduct post‑decision reviews, capture learnings and integrate them into future pursuits.
• Mentor and develop the Pursuit and Proposal team to build a high‑performing unit.
• Implement new technologies and AI tools to improve efficiency throughout the pursuit lifecycle.
• Manage external stakeholder relationships, including design agencies, content writers and printers, ensuring brand compliance.
• Collaborate with global PwC networks to adopt best practices and support business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading pursuit or bid teams in a professional services environment.
• Strong track record of delivering complex, high‑value proposals.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with senior partners and clients.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable pursuit plans.
• Leadership experience in mentoring and developing multidisciplinary teams.
