Bookkeeper – Full Ownership Finance Role

About the role

As a Bookkeeper you will take full ownership of the day‑to‑day finance function in a busy, growing organisation. You will manage core accounting processes, payroll and statutory compliance while looking for ways to streamline systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Process weekly payroll and ROS (Revenue) submissions.
• Prepare and file timely Revenue and statutory returns.
• Oversee credit control, issue client invoices and chase outstanding payments.
• Produce monthly management accounts and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Handle banking activities and perform bank reconciliations.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a bookkeeping or finance role.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, payroll and Revenue compliance.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Proven ability to improve existing financial systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Proficiency with payroll software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong Outlook skills.
