Business Analyst – Reporting & Accounting Principles

About the role

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong reporting and accounting expertise to join a leading financial institution in Dublin for a six‑month fixed‑term assignment. The role will focus on a key financial reporting and control application, supporting both the immediate team and wider business analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Drive initiatives for the financial reporting and control application.
• Support and mentor other Business Analysts within the team.
• Assist with complex support issues escalated from front‑line support to the development team.
• Participate in the full project lifecycle, from delivery to execution.
• Apply a hands‑on approach to problem solving as issues arise.

Required profile

• Experience in global banking and investment markets with solid product knowledge.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and standard financial reporting.
• Proven experience across the full project lifecycle.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Advanced use of Pivot tables (Excel).
