Business Development Consultant – Remote (Ireland/UK)

About the role

Hireland HR is seeking a Business Development Consultant to work remotely on a full‑time basis. You will generate new business opportunities for recruitment and HR services across Ireland and the UK, while also supporting companies that want to expand into the Italian market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective clients in Ireland and the UK.
• Build and manage a pipeline of recruitment, HR, and market‑entry opportunities.
• Develop relationships with firms planning to enter the Italian market.
• Conduct discovery meetings and present tailored Hireland HR and PEOITALY solutions.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and support the closing of new business.
• Collaborate with internal recruitment, HR, legal, and operational teams.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and monitor commercial performance.

Required profile

• Previous experience in B2B sales, business development, recruitment, HR services, or professional consulting.
• Strong lead generation, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Consultative, client‑focused sales approach.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and achieve commercial targets.
• Confidence using CRM systems and digital prospecting tools.
• Fluent English; Italian or another European language is a plus.
• A degree in Business, HR, Marketing or related field is preferred but not essential.
