About the role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to expand our client’s credit insurance business in the Irish market. You will be responsible for generating new B2B opportunities, guiding prospects through the sales cycle, and positioning the company as the preferred credit insurer.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a go‑to‑market strategy for Ireland, targeting finance managers, CFOs and financial controllers.
- Manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation and qualification to proposal creation, negotiation and deal closure.
- Prepare persuasive business proposals and deliver impactful presentations to senior decision‑makers.
- Collaborate with internal teams – marketing, product development and finance – to ensure solutions meet client needs and remain competitive.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to refine business strategies.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 + years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of closing deals.
- Experience in insurance, credit, or financial services is essential.
- Full Irish driving licence.
- Immediate, permanent right to work in Ireland.
