Business Development Manager

About the role

Shamrock Security is looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to expand its client base in Dublin. You will drive growth by identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and promoting a full suite of security services to commercial and industrial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the security services sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Design and execute effective sales and business development strategies.
• Prepare and deliver professional proposals, presentations, and quotations.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to uncover growth opportunities.
• Lead negotiations and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
• Collaborate with operational and management teams to ensure service excellence.
• Represent the company at networking events, meetings, and industry exhibitions.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and provide regular sales reports.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management.
• Strong negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Experience in market analysis and identifying commercial opportunities.
• Self‑motivated, organised, and results‑oriented.
• Previous experience in the security industry is advantageous but not essential.
• Full Irish driving licence preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite.
