Business Development Manager

About the role

UniCrest Accounting is seeking a remote Business Development Manager on a contract basis to drive growth across its target markets. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building relationships with SMEs, startups, and CPA firms, and presenting the company’s cloud‑based accounting and Virtual CFO services.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads, manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing.
• Prepare proposals, conduct discovery calls, and maintain accurate records in CRM tools.
• Collaborate with service delivery teams to align client needs with accounting solutions.
• Gather market feedback to refine service offerings and sales strategies.
• Monitor industry trends and participate in virtual networking activities.
• Achieve agreed‑upon revenue and pipeline targets.

Required profile

• Proven business development and sales experience, preferably in B2B services.
• Experience engaging SMEs, startups, or CPA firms is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for virtual meetings and written proposals.
• Self‑motivated with excellent time‑management and remote‑work capabilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of Xero.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms.
