About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join a fast‑growing environment that connects innovative startups with funding opportunities through technology‑driven solutions. Based in Ireland and working remotely, you will operate at the intersection of business development, startups, and investment ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Drive customer acquisition by managing inbound leads and scheduling meetings with international startup founders and potential clients.
• Present platform solutions, demonstrating value and benefits to prospective customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients to ensure long‑term engagement.
• Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to optimise campaigns, messaging, and lead‑generation initiatives.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, new opportunities, and potential business risks.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, track sales activities, and monitor customer interactions throughout the sales cycle.
• Support clients throughout the onboarding journey and contribute to improving the overall customer experience.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related managerial role with a proven record of delivering growth.
• Strong understanding of B2B sales, startup ecosystems, and investment‑related environments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to influence decision‑makers.
• Experience managing international B2B sales processes and building trust with entrepreneurial clients.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
