Business Development Manager – New Business (Hunter Role)

About the role

CWS Workwear is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to lead new‑business acquisition across Ireland. This pure hunter role focuses on generating leads, building relationships and closing high‑value rental agreements for our sustainable workwear solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research and engage prospective B2B customers in target industries.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline through proactive outreach and relationship‑building.
• Deliver tailored presentations and consultative solutions to meet client needs.
• Close high‑value rental agreements and achieve sales targets.
• Use Salesforce CRM to track prospects, activities and reporting.
• Monitor competitor activity and adapt sales tactics accordingly.
• Collaborate with the Head of Sales and wider team to meet growth objectives.

Required profile

• Proven track record in B2B field sales, preferably in industrial services or workwear.
• Hunter mentality – self‑motivated, target‑driven and relentless in pursuing new opportunities.
• Experience in consultative, customer‑facing sales roles.
• Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and ability to analyse market trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills.
• Full clean driving licence.
