Channel Partner Consultant

About the role

The Channel Partner Consultant will design and execute sourcing strategies that deliver optimal value for Verizon’s national retail and indirect sales channels. Working in an agile environment, you will ensure the best outcomes for channel partners while upholding global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for channel partner requirements, covering spend analysis, market research and RFX management.
• Support senior managers in drafting and managing contracts, including Statements of Work, Letters of Authorisation and master lease agreements.
• Conduct detailed financial and business analysis of supplier proposals to strengthen Verizon’s supply base.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations, CSO, Finance and Legal teams to translate business needs into sourcing requirements.
• Execute Supplier Relationship Management activities for assigned distributors, monitoring contract performance and ethical compliance.
• Provide market benchmarks and risk‑mitigation insights to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Strategic problem‑solver with strong attention to detail and a change‑agent mindset.
• Analytical thinker capable of deep data analysis and comfortable building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain preferred.
• Familiarity with channel partner models, reseller ecosystems or distributor agreements.
• Understanding of legal terminology related to contracting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel for spend and bid analysis.
• Experience using Google Suite for data collaboration.
• Ability to perform financial modeling and business analysis.
